The Stated Clerk is the ecclesiastical officer of the presbytery, responsible for correspondence, minutes, records and any duties required by the Book of Order.The Stated Clerk provides staff support to the Council, Trustees, and Ministerial Relations Commit- tee.

The purpose of this position is to resource and assist the Council, the Presbytery and individual congregations in seeking God’s vision for ministry in this region. Rev. Chisholm is our primary connection to the PCUSA beyond the presbytery, including serving as the Executive Presbyter contact. As staff to Congregational Relations Committee (CRC), she prepares the weekly guide “Praying Through the Presbytery,” administers the Kendall Facebook page, and visits congregations to learn and share our stories of ministry and mission.

The Minister of Care serves as “pastor to the pastors,” visiting with the minister members and commissioned lay pastors of the presbytery, especially in times of crisis or need. Rhett visits congregations to share in their life and works to facilitate commun- ion within the presbytery. He is staff to the Ministerial Relations Committee (MRC) and meets with the Council.

Candie lives in Pocatello with her husband Don, her mother-in-law Betty and three dogs.  She worked as the office administrator for six years, retiring in 2018.  Because she knows the job and loves the people she came back to fill in until a suitable replacement for Kaitlyn could be found.  Candie likes to read, knit, crochet, and piece quilts.  She will be in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday weather permitting.  You can almost always reach her on the Presbytery's phone (208-242-3800), though occasionally life takes over, so leave a message and she will get back to you as soon as possible.
